The Earth Resilience Institute is advancing a new model for climate action—one that is participatory, anticipatory, and community-first, while bridging local and sub-national action with international networks, resources, and opportunities. Rather than following the traditional NGO model, the Institute serves as a dynamic platform that connects its members to one another and to international organizations, expertise, financing, and opportunities, enabling locally grounded solutions to inform and influence action across scales. By anticipating emerging risks, elevating community knowledge, and building connections across institutional and geographic boundaries, the Institute helps its members turn local insight into meaningful, scalable climate resilience.

Featured Project: The Tiger Widows
Climate and Women on the frontline for social justice in the Sundarbans.
For over five decades, tiger attacks in the rapidly vanishing mangrove forests of the Sundarbans have left thousands of families bereaved. These "Tiger Widows" are women whose husbands were killed trying to earn a living in this treacherous terrain.
Through the lens of award-winning filmmaker Kaustuv Mukherjee, this documentary explores the haunting intersection of survival, grief, and resilience. As sea levels rise and climate change threatens to erase their land, these women must navigate nature's fury and society's neglect to fight for dignity, legal rights, and their livelihoods.
